STAFF:  4 Direct Reports and the need to head cross functional Working- and Project groups.

LOCATION: Kuwait City

JOB PURPOSE:

Kuwait Steel is been undergoing a Digital Transformation for the last 4 years and is in the process of upgrading its ERP environment to SAP S4Hana, Success factors and Ariba . The primary purpose of this position is to lead the implementation reporting to the CIO. Relevant experience in SAP S4Hana and these two modules are a must.

The successful candidate will lead a team of Application- and Development specialists in Change Management and will be the custodian of overall ERP systems architecture and standards to ensure full SAP S4HANA implementation resulting in Business and Performance Improvement.  Speed and quality of delivering innovative solutions is of the essence.

Qualifications required:

Applicants should be in possession of a relevant BSc, MSc or PhD degree, as well as training certification issued by SAP S4HANA or a 1st tier SAP Partner.

Experience

Preferably 5-10 years relevant experience, confident within a manufacturing business environment

Requirements

Experience in managing an SAP S4HANA ERP environment and team; Understand Software Life Cycle processes and practices;
Hands on recent experience in supporting SAP S4HANA FiCo, SD, SF, Ariba and PM modules.

JOB KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Operational management of the SAP S4HANA environment;
Curious in nature i.e. investigation, research and development on SAP S4HANA (new dimension products);
Management of operational budgets and CAPEX;
Develop, maintain and execute SAP S4HANA application strategy;
Understanding and interpreting current and future application and technical support needs ;
Protect the wellbeing and integrity of the ERP asset within the company;
Preparation and development of a skills development plan to ensure that the company has the necessary skills required as per application strategy;
Leadership role to ensure successful roll-out of initiatives identified within the company;
Managing business information continuity and the SAP S4HANA DRP plans
Thought leadership to stakeholders;
Managing the SAP S4HANA Vendor Strategy and ensuring alignment with all business units;
Demand management, balancing demand and supply of services;
Driving a process of value-release aligned with the company and systems strategy;
Ensuring service delivery through SLA and KPI tracking;
Collaboration with all other disciplines across the company;
Formulate, participate and execute policies and standards as defined by the policies and standards;
