The Facility Maintenance Manager oversees Agility Logistics Parks’ (ALP) team of technicians in Kuwait or elsewhere in the Gulf. Responsibilities include carrying out the daily corrective and preventive maintenance tasks; directing the maintenance staff in managing the up-keeping of facilities, equipment suppliers and subcontractors, utilizing the latest Facilities Maintenance (FM) software. The role is also responsible for converting the operations into and managing it as a profit center. Your Responsibilities Manage preventive and corrective services for chillers/refrigeration/freezers/HVAC; electrical work including panels and lighting; firefighting networks; civil works; plumbing, water, and waste waterOversee general upkeep and maintenance of buildings to ensure that they meet health and safety standards and legal requirementsControl costing of each specific FM function; determine cost for repairs or renovations and manage required workPerform analysis and forecasts for budgetingCreate cost benchmarks for specific services that could be implemented in external (out of Kuwait) maintenance operationsReview utilities consumption and strive to minimize costsCreate KPIs to gauge operations in terms of response time, efficiency, quality, cost control, and customer satisfactionCreate and manage a system for material procurement, storage, and dispatch based on bar code scanning and softwareNegotiate contracts with clients and vendors who work on ALP owned propertySupervise all facilities staff and external contractors Your Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or Facilities ManagementLicensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, preferredRelevant professional certification, an advantageMinimum 10 years’ experience in facility maintenance with at least 7 years’ proven experience as facilities manager or similar position Your Proficiencies Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practicesKnowledge of basic accounting and finance principlesKnowledgeable in FM softwareKnowledge and ability to control cost, labor, material, equipment, overtime, etc.Good analytical/critical thinkingLeadership and management skillsExcellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skillsBilingual (Arabic/English)Excellent customer and client management skillsExcellent problem-solving skills المهارات |
