The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design and review, testing, evaluation, component development, and overall management of electrical systems for projects under Agility Logistics Parks (ALP). Your Responsibilities Provide technical support for maintenance works and ongoing projects, and carry out the necessary supervision of executionCheck and compare all contract drawings with shop drawings, specifications, and BOQ to ensure compliancePrepare general specifications and costing for all kinds of electrical works (low tension and high tension) and fire alarm systemsPerform technical evaluation of electrical systems, products, components, and applications; confirm system and component capabilitiesModify installed fixtures, equipment in buildings/warehouses to suit new technology and save cost on operationMaintain standards in accordance with Kuwait regulationsProvide technical guidance to site personnel and techniciansMaintain product database; keep price lists for regularly required items updatedConduct daily visits and follow up on all maintenance works and ongoing projects in all locationsSubmit daily and monthly reports for all electrical maintenance works and projectsEnforce safety rules at all times and report contractor non-complianceMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and actively participating in professional societies Your Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related fieldMinimum 4 years’ experience as an electrical engineerProfessional Engineer license is requiredLeadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation is an advantage Your Proficiencies Editing expertise for master electrical specificationsProficiency in computer aided design toolsExperience with electrical engineering software for electrical studies, fault calculations, one-line diagrams, and panel schedulesCommitted to complying with various codes and regulatory standards for quality and safetyAbility to identify issues, obstacles, and opportunities, and then develop and implement effective solutionsAbility to make informed decisions and resolve issues with minimal supervisionExcellent interpersonal, presentation, and verbal and written communication skillsKeenness to meet deadlines and budgetsAbility to negotiate and motivateAbility to deliver on commitments المهارات |
