General Summary: Coordinate with the Group Projects manager in undertakings related to Projects operation to achieve the objectives and business plan of the Company within the terms of the policies, procedures and authorities delegated to the position with an aim to add value to the Organization on the whole. Duties & Responsibilities
Lead and Communicate with project site engineers, subcontractors and vendors to assist them in working to the Project schedule.
Represent GEC with customers, clients, consultants, Government Authorities, vendors and subcontractors.
Administer financial aspects of the customer’s contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
Build effective working relationships with clients and the project team member
Oversee the Project Start-Up
Review the general contract and contract documents and confirm the budget setup and project milestones in conjunction with the Group Projects Manager
Create a schedule of values and project logs, plan for project safety and mobilization, including review and validation with team members
Purchase process and document control
Maintain the Purchase schedule, write scopes of work, distribute and log subcontracts, write required contract riders and purchase orders, and confirm compliance with project insurance requirements
Review subcontractor references, obtain Subcontractor bonds, and maintain project files
Maintain and manage all purchase and delivery schedules, change order processes, project drawings, document control logs, customer, client and Subcontractor correspondence.
Work with purchasing in setting up/executing trade buyout including: defining scope of work, ensuring scope coverage, coordinating buy and project schedules
Attend all schedule and management MEP meetings necessary to monitor and manage the projects, chairing as appropriate.
Manage all requisitions and payments including lien releases and project payroll and maintains best possible cash flow throughout the project, communicating issues proactively
Deliver all necessary manuals to the Customers, consolidates project documentation and file
Manage subcontractor closeout, transfer of utilities, owner training, and punch list process
Deliver all warranties, as-builts and training to the owner

Skills & Qualification
Professional qualification of Post-Graduation in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute
A Valid Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP)
Experience of over 10 + years in progressively responsible Project Management roles leading larger teams in the MEP industry
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and interact positively at all levels of the organization
Strong problem solving, negotiations and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
Should be familiar with the standard form of contracts and the project scheduling software
Excellent command in English and Arabic speaking is an added benefit
