2.1 Direct and supervise the department’s staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated, trained, and carry out their responsibilities up to the required standards.
2.2 Implement HR policies to support business goals and to ensure that the company complies with legal require¬ments and best practice.
2.3 Define the performance standards to be applied in the company management.
2.4 Develop, implement and monitor all required proce¬dures related to staff terms and conditions of employment to ensure that the company complies with legal requirements and best practice.
2.5 Provide comprehensive personnel advisory service to all com¬pany managers and staff to ensure that the company follows best practice in the management of its staff and to ensure compli¬ance with legal requirements.
2.6 Recommend and contribute in HR policies development which will ensure that the company recruits and retains a pool of well-trained and highly motivated staff.
2.7 Provide an employee relations service to the company, including negotiating with the employees on personnel issues, to ensure that harmonious relationships and effective communi¬cations are maintained between management and staff.
2.8 Identify the company’s staffing needs and develop policies and procedures to ensure that the required numbers and types of staff are recruited within agreed budgets to meet operational require¬ments.
2.9 Recommend and implement reward policies and structures which ensure the effective recruitment and retention of high quality employees
2.10 Maintain comprehensive personnel records to ensure compli¬ance with Equal Opportunities and other legal requirements and to provide information on staffing issues to the company and other relevant bodies.
