ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: • In the Hospital Emergency Department You will be working alongside other General Practitioners and from time to time may be the only specialist in emergency medicine in the Emergency Department • You will work in a multidisciplinary team and jointly assume responsibility for patient care, conduct rounds, reassess emergency department patients on a regular basis, in line with established best practice. • There is focus on accurate documentation of all relevant clinical information. • You will liaise with colleagues, Allied Health staff, nursing, administrative and support services staff and comply with all hospital policies regarding admissions, consultations, procedures, discharge protocols, outpatient and follow up practices. • Support and participate in the organization’s performance management, including peer reviews and the productivity and utilization review processes. MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: • Medical practitioner with specialist training in Emergency Medicine • Experience and interest in primary care • Experience of working in a private hospital emergency department setting • Able to demonstrate an understanding, experience and interest in increasing productivity and revenue generation. Qualification: American board/CCT UK or its equivalent which is listed in the approved PQR issued by Licensing Authority (Ministry of Health). Experience working in JCI Accredited Hospital. Experience: With at least 5 to 10 year’s experience in Consultant Level in Emergency medicine in a private hospital with general practice. Should have a clear focus on revenue generation.
