Project Summary:
The project is scheduled in phases consists of 13 different packages including the construction of a new building for Arrivals and Departures, expansion of the existing terminal, Apron works, increase in parking stands, Baggage Handling System and the development of the roads leading to the airport. Parsons’ services include, but not limited to, design and scope management, project management, planning support services, construction management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs technical submittals review and approval including shop drawings and material submittals.
Assist management with all Architectural issues raised on site.
Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure proper coordination of the Architectural aspects of the projects.
Coordinate with Contractor’s site staff regarding Architectural works schedule, work sequence and arrangements, resources, and method of work.
Review Contractor’s daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation and reports.
Ensure that Architectural tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with Quality Management System.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
المهارات
Requirements:
Must hold a B. Sc. in Architecture from a recognized university or college.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Architectural construction works on large to mega infrastructure/building programs.
Airport terminal experience required. GCC experience is preferred.
Must be fluent and be able to effectively communicate in both spoken and written English.
In depth knowledge of international standards, specifications, and codes.
