Project Summary:
The project is scheduled in phases consists of 13 different packages including the construction of a new building for Arrivals and Departures, expansion of the existing terminal, Apron works, increase in parking stands, Baggage Handling System and the development of the roads leading to the airport. Parsons’ services include, but not limited to, design and scope management, project management, planning support services, construction management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in analyzing schedule activities pertinent to the assigned design, engineering and construction of projects.
Review work progress reports submitted by the contractors and compare the progress to the approved construction master program and report to the Project Controls Lead.
Evaluate, and forecast project progress and performance against the updated construction master program.
Assist in invoice verification for payment based on cost-loaded schedules, as required.
Assist in developing specific project codes of accounts and work breakdown structures, and recommends appropriate modifications and revisions for new work items assigned.
Support/perform integration of scope, cost and schedule within the WBS and ensure mapping is accurate on an on-going basis.
Monitor schedule deviations for assigned disciplines or specialties including subcontractor submittals and recommend corrective action/work-around solutions for project considerations.
Assess the impact(s) of design or construction changes and schedule slippages.
Review and maintain updated copy of project’s tracking sheets (design, engineering, procurement, etc.).
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
المهارات
Requirements:
Must hold a B. Sc. in Civil Engineering / Architecture / or equivalent from a recognized university or college.
Minimum 10 years of experience in project planning, budgeting, Earned Value Management, cost management and control from the project initiation to close out phases on large to mega infrastructure/building programs.
Experience in the aviation industry and airports is mandatory. GCC experience is preferred.
Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in technical report writing as well as oral and written communication skills.
Professional level in using Primavera and MS project is a mandatory requirement.
