JOB PURPOSE
The Research Institute of Medical and Health Sciences (RIMHS) is seeking to hire a Bioinformatics postdoctoral research associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing and managing code for lab projects, ranging from simulating high throughput genomic data (NGS and Microarray) to analyzing OMICs data (genomics, transcriptomics and epigenetics) generated by teams in the institute and from publicly available biological databases. The Post Doc, under the supervision of Principal Investigator and/or research scientist executes several tasks such as programming and implementing bioinformatics pipeline, testing and validating new tools and running pilot analysis. The Post Doc will also execute several tasks such as NGS and proteomics data analysis especially variants annotation and development of biological databases. Hands on experience evidenced by educational background and publications in leading journals is necessary. Transcripts must be submitted along the CV in one document.
