The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing project safety, quality, planning, budget, schedule, cost
control, engineering, procurement, construction commissioning. Experience in oil and gas terminal is required
preferably experience in construction and commissioning of plants.
The job holder is also responsible for coordinating project team members and sub-contractors to ensure cost
effectiveness, QA/QC procedures are met and timely completion of projects and set deliverables.
Responsibilities: - PROJECT MANAGEMENT
• Drive project planning and scheduling for construction activities in collaboration with other relevant officers.
• Coordinate and manage projects, teams and other resources to ensure time, cost, quality and other set targets are met
• Provide technical support for project management
• Drive the achievement of established construction milestones and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinate the execution of multidisciplinary construction activities
• Monitor project performance and take corrective action as required
• Monitor and ensure the adequacy of manpower and equipment for construction activities
• Must have knowledge of Fabrication/Erection & Commissioning of Project.
• Must have handled Bulk Tank (Liquid)
QUALITY ASSURANCE & HSE
• Maintain and enforce good construction standards and quality control plan
• Ensure the implementation and adherence to HSE procedures and safe work practices
• Monitor and ensure adherence to appropriate procedures, practices, work methods, as well as applicable regulations, standards, and building codes.
PROCUREMENT & CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
• Source and procure construction materials, contractors and suppliers to support projects and the attainment of set goals
• Ensure review of construction-related contractual documents interfacing with other project functions
• Oversee contract negotiations and recommendation of contractors for contract award.
• Monitor contractors and their activities, providing the guidelines for the execution of the works and monitoring them
• Can coordinate with Authority for all levels of approval and coordination.
