Purchasing Manager

The Business
· An international and diversified manufacturing business.
· This business unit is focused on the manufacture and service of industrial fabricated machinery like pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
· The need to quickly purchase high quality materials, at the right price and to the right schedule is critical in the success of this project-based manufacturing business. To help them achieve this they have created a new position for a Purchasing Manager.
The Opportunity
· The Purchasing Manager will report to the Operations Director and manage a small team of Buyers.
· You will oversee the entire purchasing function for a medium sized business that manufacture fabricated industrial equipment.
· You will have the objective of making the purchasing function more strategic and securing the best prices.
· By identifying new suppliers, and getting better prices from current suppliers, you will help achieve them achieve cost savings without reducing quality.
المهارات
Candidate Criteria
· Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business with an understanding of engineering materials.
· 8+ years in a purchasing role, with 2+ years as a Supervisor or Manager.
· Experience in a manufacturing/fabrication business. Product knowledge of heat exchangers and pressure vessels will be an advantage.
· Currently based in the UAE.
The Benefits
· All-inclusive salary of 12,000 to 15,000 AED per month.
· Family status VISA and Medical.
