Preparation of AutoCad drawings as per Work Order.
Selection of Drawing (from central library) and CNC program (punching and bending) as per Work Order.
Assigning relevant drawing to the Punching and Bending Operators as per Work Order.
Release Fabrication Job Card along with relevant drawing to the Operators.
Samples execution - To prepare programs for sample as per requirement
Ensure minimum wastage of raw material/ scrap reduction. Prepare and maintain periodic scrap reports.
Maintain Central Drawings library for all fabrication drawings (in AutoCad) and all CNC Programs (bending and punching).
Ensure all relevant procedures are being followed at all times within the production department
Support continuous improvement of product and design
Prepare wiring diagrams and support sales team with the same as and when required
Prepare product & packaging label as per customer requirement.
Minimum Requirements:
ITI in sheet metal or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
3 - 5 years as Draftsman in sheet metal/ lighting industry
AutoCad (2D & 3D), Ability to interpret fabrication drawings, knowledge of CNC programming, Knowledge of wiring diagrams for conventional & LED fittings
