Petrofac Well Engineering currently have a vacancy for a night drilling supervisor for a long-term project in the Middle East. The Night Drilling supervisor will be responsible for the Supervision of drilling and workover activities during night shift. The project consists of onshore drilling activities with a land drilling rig as well as workover activities with a hydraulic workover unit
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the safety of all personal on site
- In charge of conducting the operations as per the work program and communicating with the drilling superintendent to report any change or deviation to the program.
- Ensure well integrity during the operations
- Ensuring operations continuity by planning all material, equipment, personal and services
- Maintain a sound working environment with all service companies and rig contactor
- Responsible for reporting the well operations
- Maintain high QHSE standards on side, promote those and maintain as low as possible QHSE statistics
- Make sure that all operation on the rig are done in compliance with Well Engineering and Well Operation Policy and the signed Work Program.
Essential Requirements
- Solid background in onshore well operations
- Strong track record in the Middle East Region
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the industry with 5 years in supervisory positions with operators
- Experience in Land based Drilling and Workover operations
- Valid IWCF, Supervisor Level or equivalent
- Valid OPITO Approved H2S certificate
- Fitness to work and health certificate
