Charterhouse are working with a holding company who is looking to hire a Junior Counsel. This particular office is a new set up, designed to manage the portfolio of a number of well-established subsidiaries. The position will be the sole member of the legal team and therefore a broad skill set is essential. The offices are modern and located in a lovely setting.
The position will be challenging and diverse. You will be required to manage all legal aspects of the portfolio, which includes approximately 5 companies. This will involve drafting and reviewing corporate / commercial contracts / agreements, company formation on/offshore, general employment, minute taking and general compliance.
المهارات
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years recent commercial experience, ideally from an in-house role. UAE experience is essential. You should have the ability to draft, review and negotiate many different contracts and agreements. You should also be understanding of the challenges of working in a small team. Arabic speaking would be an advantage.
