JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for doing carpentering and small maintenance work, changing locks, door
alignment and other related miscellaneous work.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪ Carries out repairs on ceilings, floors and walls by combining plaster of spackle,
tiles fixing, carpentry work, and painting.
▪ Carries out all duties that are necessary in resolving reactionary activities, and
report the need for further maintenance and safety to supervising staff.
▪ Ensures the proper use of used tools.
▪ Carries out detailed evaluation of needed equipment to ensure that they are in
good condition for proper functioning.
▪ Assist less skilled workers in different phases of general maintenance and
review works performed by them to ensure that they are in good condition.
▪ Repairs and changes locks in the building and perform complex lock servicing to
ensure maximum safety of all people.
▪ Ensures maximum safety of all workers under his supervision by ensuring that
they observe all safety measures to the latter, and report conditions that are
likely to endanger safety of workers to management for quick resolution.
▪ Performs the installation and repairs of fire and emergency alarms and other
appliances that are used to call out for help in cases of emergency.
المهارات
Experience:
▪ Relevant 3 - 5 years of work experience in UAE.
Qualification /Training:
▪ High school diploma.
Skills/Competencies:
▪ Handyman with good knowledge of electricity and plumbing among other technical skills
▪ Knowledge of air conditioning works.
▪ Good knowledge of troubleshooting techniques in order to determine exact problems and tackle them accordingly
▪ Excellent ability to communicate system problems to both co-workers and management for proper understanding.
▪ Exhibit good mechanical skills to handle equipment to avoid causing injuries to self and others on ground.
▪ Awareness about safety procedures and PPE.
▪ Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
▪ Physical agility.
▪ Great hand dexterity and an eye for detail.
▪ Customer service and problem resolution abilities.
▪ Strong leadership capabilities.
▪ Ability to work well under pressure.
▪ Good verbal and written communication skills in English is a Must.
