JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing the facility’s lighting and
electrical systems.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪ Provide preventive and predictive maintenance of the electrical systems,
conducting daily rounds and readings in accordance to the project requirements
as instructed by its facility coordinator.
▪ Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical components.
▪ Follows manuals, DB schedules, schematic diagrams, and drawings, using hand
tools and test equipment.
▪ Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, sockets,
switches and lighting fixtures, using test equipment, and replaces damaged or
broken wires and cables, using hand tools.
▪ Tests malfunctioning machinery, using test equipment, and discusses
malfunction with other maintenance technicians to diagnose malfunction.
▪ Replaces faulty electrical components, such as relays, switches, and positions
sensing devices, using hand tools.
▪ Implements and complies with electrical safety rules and related industry
regulations.
▪ Provides daily reporting to the site supervisor.
المهارات
Experience:
▪ Relevant 3 - 5 years of work experience in UAE.
Qualification /Training:
▪ High school diploma is preferred.
Skills/Competencies:
▪ Demonstrated ability to perform a wide variety of maintenance and operational tasks.
▪ Ability to troubleshoot controls and electrical systems with amp meters, voltmeters, tracers, and recording devices.
▪ Ability to read electrical schematics, electrical prints, wiring diagrams, and nameplates.
▪ Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
▪ Good understanding of basic math.
▪ Good physical condition and endurance.
▪ Handiness and an eye for detail.
▪ Customer service oriented personality.
▪ Ability to work well under pressure.
▪ Good verbal and written communication skills in English is a Must.
▪ Problem-solving skills.
