Job Description
On behalf of our client we are looking for a freelance graphic designer.
JOB OBJECTIVESResponsible for works on a variety of products and activities, such as websites, advertising, posters, brochures, exhibitions and displays, corporate communications and corporate identity, i.e. giving organizations a visual ‘brand’. Required to work to a brief agreed with the company to develop creative ideas and concepts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic:
• The appropriate media and style must be chosen to meet the company’s objectives
• Contribute to PR and marketing advertisements with creative ideas and designs• Create engaging and professional visuals that reflect client and their brand
Operational:
• Coordinate with marketing department to affirm marketing objectives, discuss effective creative solutions and ensure that brand bring the correct artwork to the company’s information with high standards
• Producing creative output and ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and the company standards
• Prepare all graphic design activities that may serve as creative leader in marketing mix to the internal and external customer
• Designing, supporting and assisting sign makers for in-store communication and ensuring cost-efficient methods of developing and implementing
• Prepare in designing or modifying logos requested by the marketing/business unit along with other artworks, design and layouts according to the advertise briefs
• Prepare company’s presentations and provide technical & graphical assistance to the Support/ Business Unit in all jobs related to the company’s promotional events
• Responsible in coordinating the design, development and implementation of web pages, web-based applications and e-commerce activities• Keep abreast of the latest design techniques, programs, etc. and continuously enrich your skills for self-development to contribute more towards the company’s growth and success

• Make prompt report to management regarding customers’ response to company’s products• Analyse and report on marketing reviews monthly basis for successes and new opportunities

KEY COMPETENCIES
Technical Competencies
• Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software
• Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
• An understanding of the latest trends, digital marketing concepts, best practices and their role within a commercial environment• Must be able to create designs that are artistically interesting and appealing to viewers
Behavioural Competencies
• Must be able to think of new approaches to communicating ideas to Management
• Excellent communication skills, Oral & Written (Arabic is an added advantage)
• Good presentation skills and the confidence to explain ideas to management and colleagues• A flexible approach when working in a team
KEY INTERACTIONS & COMMUNICATIONS
• Act as internal web administrator that supervise the maintenance of edits, updates and announcements as and when required • Must communicate with management, clients, customers, and other designers to ensure that their designs accurately reflect the desired message and effectively express information
Skills
Education • Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art Design, Marketing or related discipline.
Skills/Training
• Graphic Design Skills, Layout Skills & Time Management skills.
• Effective networking skills• Accuracy & Attention to detail
Experience
• At least 4+ years of experience in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency • Experience with managing multiple, large-scale projects, company branding and designing artworks
