Our client, a leading firm in the capital markets sector, is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Analyst to join their dynamic team in Dubai. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional to contribute to a high-performing, fast-paced financial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor, assess, and report on operational risks across the firm, ensuring compliance with risk management frameworks and policies.
• Identify potential risks related to internal processes, systems, and external events, and provide recommendations for mitigating actions.
• Collaborate with various teams, including compliance, finance, and IT, to ensure the implementation of effective risk control measures.
• Conduct risk assessments and support the development of key risk indicators (KRIs).
• Prepare regular risk management reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of risk management tools and processes.
• Stay updated with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in operational risk management.
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. A relevant risk management certification (e.g., FRM, PRM) is a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operational risk management, preferably within the capital markets or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to senior management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities.
