Job Title: Operations Assistant - Land Freight

Job Summary:
The Operations Assistant - Land Freight will assist in the day-to-day management of land freight operations, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, possess excellent organizational skills, and be capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. The candidate must be currently residing in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in Daily Operations:
• Support the operations team in coordinating and executing land freight shipments.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise.
Documentation and Compliance:
• Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs documentation, and invoices.
• Ensure all shipments comply with local and international regulations and company policies.
Customer Service:
• Communicate with clients to provide updates on shipments, address inquiries, and resolve any issues.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
Coordination and Scheduling:
• Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in scheduling pickups and deliveries, optimizing routes for efficiency.
Data Management:
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and other operational activities.
• Utilize logistics software and systems to manage data and generate reports.
Problem Solving:
• Identify and resolve operational issues, including delays, discrepancies, and other challenges.
• Proactively suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Experience:
• 1 to 3 years of experience in land freight operations or a related field.
• Familiarity with logistics and transportation processes in the UAE is preferred.
