Position Overview:
As MEP Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within commercial, residential, and industrial facilities. You are responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing MEP systems and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and optimal performance of building systems. You will work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to execute preventive maintenance tasks, respond to service requests, and contribute to the overall functionality and safety of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and equipment in commercial and residential facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and perform repairs or replacements as necessary to minimize downtime and disruptions to facility operations.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to prioritize and execute work orders and service requests in a timely manner.
• Comply with all safety regulations, standards, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements:
• Diploma or vocational training in Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing disciplines.
• Proven experience as an MEP Technician or similar role, preferably in a facility management or maintenance environment.
• Valid UAE driving license and ability to travel to various locations within the UAE as needed.
