As an Accounting Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial records, implementing effective financial controls, and making valuable contributions to the overall success of our organization.
Job Responsibilities
• Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Preparation of VAT returns, Corporate TAX Audit and provides accurate financial records to support the process.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Conduct periodic audits to assess the effectiveness of controls.
• Lead and supervise the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Ensure the team’s adherence to deadlines and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors during annual financial audits. Provide necessary documentation and explanations to support audit procedures.
• Implement and enhance financial systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures to maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS), providing accurate and complete financial records that comply with industry standards.
• Oversee all day-to-day accounting transactions.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Proven experience in a similar leadership role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or any related certification is highly desirable.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights.
• Proficiency in financial management systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
