• Project managers with experience in banking sector (is a must) typically require a combination of technical expertise and managerial skills. Some key requirements include:
• Financial Knowledge: Understanding of banking products, services, and processes, including lending, investments, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, as well as tools like JIRA or Microsoft Project.
• Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including clients, team members, executives, and regulatory authorities.
• Leadership Abilities: Capability to lead diverse teams, inspire motivation, and resolve conflicts in a fast-paced environment.
• Risk Management: Ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, including operational, financial, and regulatory risks.
• Technology ProficiencyFamiliarity with banking systems, software, and emerging technologies relevant to the industry, such as core banking systems, payment processing, and cybersecurity measures.
• Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements, such as CRS/FATCA, KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and Basel III.
