Position: Senior HSE Engineer/Environmental Engineer (PP) - (oil & gas)
Location: Abu Dhabi with frequent offshore visits
• Salary: AED 12,000 to 15,000/pm consolidated
• Sponsorship: Under Agency sponsorship – contract hire
• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline / Health, Safety or Environmental Sciences or an equivalent qualification (Preferably Chemical / Mechanical/ Environmental). Possession of NEBOSH International General Certificate or Equivalent in Oil and Gas Qualifications.
• Experience: More than 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a similar position in the HSE function, preferably in the oil & gas industry. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in executing HSEIAs and Safety studies associated with offshore operations/installations.
• Responsibilities: Plan and lead the development, management, and effective implementation of Company/Department HSE objectives and targets across all projects. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including Environmental Agency requests & code of practice (CoP), ADOC HSE policies, and HSEMS. Project execution in any phase (assessment, design & EPC) is essential.
• Preference: Extensive exposure to project workshops such as HAZOP, PHA, Bowtie, IVB, QRA, Drop Object analysis, risk rating, and analysis.
• Additional Skills: Good background experience in environmental impact, etc.
