Accounts/HR professional

Prominent wood manufacturing industry located in Dubai, is currently in need of an Accounts/HR professional.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the UAE/Gulf region.
• Proficiency in generating and delivering daily accounting reports and statements.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be entrusted with the complete accounting and bookkeeping functions of the company. This entails expertise in managing the ERP system and executing corresponding accounting entries. They must possess a thorough understanding of UAE statutory regulations, VAT, and tax compliance, ensuring timely returns and filings. Additionally, the candidate will oversee the company’s banking operations, including monthly bank reconciliations. Adeptness in conducting credit checks for customers, issuing timely reminders to the sales team for accounts receivable, and ensuring A A punctual payments to suppliers is crucial. Familiarity with import-related documentation and corresponding entries in the books of accounts is also necessary.
In terms of #HR responsibilities, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and information regarding attendance, leave, visas, medical requirements, and other pertinent matters in accordance with UAE law. Moreover, they will handle the timely processing of employee salary payments.
