Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Group Account Director to join our integrated comms agency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and managing high-performing teams, a deep understanding of the PR and social media landscapes, and the ability to deliver innovative strategies that drive client success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive integrated strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients. Ensure alignment with clients’ business goals and brand voice.
• Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of account managers and executives. Provide mentorship, training, and career development opportunities.
• Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Act as the senior point of contact for client communications and ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Business Development: Contribute to pitches and proposals to win new accounts.
• Campaign Execution: Oversee the execution of PR and social media campaigns. Ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
• Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report on campaign performance. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Industry Trends: Stay abreast of the latest trends in the comms sector. Incorporate innovative approaches and technologies to keep the agency and clients at the forefront.
• Crisis Management: Provide expert guidance on crisis communications and reputation management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or even business management.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar agency or related environment, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
• Native English Speaker
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated strategies.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing and analytics tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
