Hiring Interior Fitout Quantity Surveyor (QS) - Interior Fitout Projects
Location: Dubai, UAE
Responsibilities:
Cost Estimation:
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for Interior fitout projects.
• Conduct comprehensive cost analysis, considering materials, labour, and equipment.
Contract Management:
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Review and advise on contractual terms for compliance with project requirements.
Budget Control:
• Monitor project budgets, identifying and addressing cost variations.
• Collaborate with project managers on cost optimization strategies.
Quantity Take-off:
• Perform quantity take-offs and measurements for precise project costing.
• Regularly update quantity surveying documentation to reflect project scope changes.
Risk Assessment:
• Identify and assess potential risks related to cost, contracts, and project delivery.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Collaboration and Reporting:
• Work closely with project teams, architects, and engineers.
• Prepare and present regular reports on project costs and financial forecasts.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in fitout project Quantity Surveying. (Gulf experience min 2 years)
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimating, and project management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in relevant software tools.
• Familiarity with local regulations and construction practices in Dubai is an advantage.
