Hiring Junior Accountant for one of the company based in Dubai located in DownTown (west-elbalad) specialized in the distribution of Arabic films in the GCC and abroad.
Job Description:
• Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system
• Assist in preparing and posting journal entries
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
• Prepare daily/weekly sales reports
• Issue weekly invoices, track payments and follow up with clients
• Review, process and verify vendor invoices and issue payments
• Provide financial information to management by analyzing accounting and other data
• Assist in preparing monthly trial balance, balance sheet, profit and loss statement
Qualifications Required:
• Working Hours: 8h/day 2 days off
• Social and Medical insurance
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in accounting/finance
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Hands-on experience with accounting software
• Strong skills in Excel, VBA, and/or data analytics tools is a strong plus.
