Design Manager Dubai - Design Manager coordinates all of the design work required during construction projects - coordinating all design matters, helping to ensure that the multi-disciplinary teams work together smoothly and that everything is delivered on time, within budget and to a high specification.
He/She works closely with designers, architects and construction managers to deliver consistent results in every project
Duties
• Overseeing the design process; ensuring structural drawings and designs are produced on time, to a high quality.
• Ensuring that all designs are correct, with clear and specific labelling and design information.
• Reviewing designs with health and safety considerations
• Keeping up-to-date with changing building legislation and codes of practice relating to design.
• Provide continual input to optimize design during design meetings
• Assist in preparing the Design Delivery Schedule along with Client, Project Director, Project Manager and consultants.
• Managing the project, ensuring it is completed on time and within budget constraints.
• Manage and maintain record keeping of original artwork files and all projects.
