Hiring Gypsum Carpenter
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Gypsum Carpenter.
Responsibilities:
• Install gypsum boards on walls, ceilings, and partitions according to blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
• Measure, cut, and shape gypsum boards to fit required dimensions using hand or power tools.
• Fasten gypsum boards to metal or wooden studs, ensuring proper alignment and secure attachment.
• Apply tape, joint compound, and other materials to seams and joints between gypsum boards, ensuring a smooth and seamless finish.
• Sand, smooth, and texture surfaces to prepare them for painting or other finishing treatments.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Gypsum Carpenter or similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and installing gypsum boards.
• In-depth knowledge of gypsum board construction techniques, including taping, mudding, and sanding.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools relevant to gypsum board installation.
