Hiring Cost Estimator
We are looking for someone who wants to kick start their career with an exciting Cost Management Internship for Interior Design, Decoration, Joinery & Fit Out projects.
Job Role:
• Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Interpret all architectural / glazing scope of works from client document and prepare B.O.Q. Cross check B.O.Q. with clients for accuracy.
• Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
• Time bound submission of quotes and maintaining good records is necessary.
What you need is:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• A valid Emirates residency, under family or university sponsorship
• Experience in working with Engineering software (eg: RSTab, BIM, AutoCad, Revit)
• Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of QA and QS
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Effective communication skills, with a strong proficiency in English - written and verbal (Arabic is a plus).
• Good organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• A solution-oriented mind-set, determined to consistently meet and exceed goals.
• Assion for engineering and critical thinking skills.
• Self-directed with high integrity – takes pride in work.
• Desire to pursue a career in estimating / cost management.
