الوصف الوظيفي TECHNICIAN - FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS - ( 220001B4 ) To maintain complex Fire Detection (Fire Alarm) System installations achieving the required/assigned targets of the work within the designated area of operations with minimum downtime meeting complete satisfaction of Clients & end users. § Carry out preventive & corrective maintenance works of complex fire Detection (Fire Alarm) systems installations inclusive of Fire alarm panels, accessories, containment systems, smoke detectors, heat detectors, beam detectors, PCBs, system controllers, interface systems etc. § Troubleshoot system failures on all of the above equipment /systems/accessories with minimum downtime § Installation of Fire alarm panels, accessories, containment systems, smoke detectors, heat detectors, beam detectors, PCBs, system controllers, interface systems etc. and testing the installed fittings/systems when required § Attend 24/7 standby duty as per duty roster § Carry out land and marine based work within the boundaries of the UAE § Assist in condition surveys / snagging works of Electrical systems when required § Carry out any other appropriate works as assigned time to time § Comply with companies EHS & Q regulations Qualifications Education/Qualifications § Secondary School Certificate (10th Standard) is a must and Higher Secondary School Certificate (12th Standard) is desirable. § 6 months Vocational Education in the Relevant Trade OR 1 year/ 2 years ITI is a must. Skills/ Competencies/ Experience § 6 months Vocational Education – 7 - 10 years relevant experience. § 1 year ITI – 5 – 7 years relevant experience. § 2 years ITI – 3 – 5 years relevant experience. § Result orientation, problem solving and people management skills. § Interpersonal Skills, Planning & Organizing skills and Planning & Organizing skills. Competent communication skills in English (Oral and Written) and knowledge in other languages will be an advantage.
