• 5+ years’ experience as a Kitchen Equipment technician in restaurants and hotels.
• Qualified in GED or suitable equivalent.
• Technically competent with a clear technical understanding.
• Relevant technical experience in restaurants.
Job Responsibilities:
• Analyze, troubleshoot, install, rebuild, adjust and replace kitchen appliance equipment.
• Performs major and/or minor repair, as well preventative and corrective maintenance of kitchen equipment.
• Responsible for coordination and prioritizing repair tasks to respond promptly and provide timely repairs and reduced downtime
• Good Knowledge of commercial refrigeration and kitchen equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
• Respond to breakdowns of equipment’s and is available in case of emergency and apply the appropriate action as per ERTH policy and standards
• Perform preventive maintenance and completes the turn-over quickly and efficiently to satisfy and meet the Guest needs
• Good knowledge of MEP maintenance, electronics and control systems, Good knowledge of various test equipment
• Conduct routine inspection of the area and ensure that all work area plants and equipment are safe to operate
