About The Job
The Deputy General Manager at BW Furniture is the Strategic Business Leader of its Operations and we believe the Deputy GM’s entrepreneurial spirit and vision in directing business functions will assist our organization in maintaining relationships with clients, generating new business, increasing staff productivity, improving service, ensuring sustainability, and hence assisting in meeting the business objectives. Candidate should be self-motivated and results-driven; able to direct and manage our organization’s day to day activities, and to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs. Duties for the general manager will include allocating budget resources, coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, ensuring good customer service, engaging with vendors, ensuring proper HSE is being followed, identifying business opportunities, and monitoring financial activities.
Qualification:
• Degree in Civil Engineering/ Architecture/ Interior Design
• At least 7 to 10 years of local & industry experience; experience in turnkey solutions and large scale project management for Furniture Manufacturing & Installation industry.
• Good technical understanding and presentation skills.
• Overall P&L;, Business Development and People management (Clients, Employees, Vendors, etc.)
• Valid UAE driver’s license
• Key Duties And Responsibilities:
• Pre & Post Contracts Management, Finance Management, Operations (Technical, Production, Projects & HSE), Resources Management, Risk Assessment and Marketing (the product).
