Position Title: LEGAL & COMPLIANCE ASSISTANT
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 15K AED all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualifications
Job Location: Dubai, UAE
About the Client:
A well established oil & gas trading company based in UAE
Job Description:
Assist in the oversight and management of the legal and compliance office and provide counsel and support on a broad range of matters including regulatory compliance, risk management, contracts, liability, and insurance
Coordinate with internal and external legal advisors for contracts and legal matters
Proactively manage renewals/expiries of any legal contracts
Identify and resolve discrepancies in the compliance/legal file
Responsible for updating and implementation of KYC/Due Diligence to further enhance the procedures and application across the business
Liaise with auditors on the legal contract to ensure documents are filed & submitted correctly
المهارات
Qualifications:
48 years old and below
Bachelor’s deree in Law or any related degree
At least 2 years of experience in related role; compliance/due diligence /corporate law
Familiar with UK / Africa Law – desirable
Should be familiar with UAE laws and freezone
Should be knowledgeable with the Sanctions List, anti-competition, and anti-bribery statutes
French speaker is a plus but not a must
Immediate joiners or with maximum 1 month notice will be prioritized
