Position Overview
If you would like to spread your wings in IT recruitment, our team is the best place to do it! We are looking for a creative, intellectually curious, and passionate Sr. IT recruiter to join our UAE Talent Acquisition team and drive recruitment in assigned business areas/departments in Middle East. The incumbent will recruit various level professionals with skill sets that fall within Information Technology
The position is integral in the continued attraction and development of talent into the organisation.
Overall, the role contribution is 80% operational and 20% strategic, and in terms of responsibilities, it is a 80% individual and 20% team contributor role
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Manage the recruitment process end-to-end, providing support and delivering a superior experience for all candidates progressing through the hiring process, including extending and closing offers, candidate onboarding and all PRO related activities
Partner with key stakeholders in assigned business areas to source, select, and hire qualified candidates at a variety of levels
Leverage creative tactics and a variety of sources (including LinkedIn and other social media, talent referrals, direct applicants, recruitment agencies, etc.) to deliver top talent to fill open positions across your designated territory
Develop a direct sourcing strategy to build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline
Deploy the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) at a local level in line with global guidelines to increase brand awareness in the local job market and position.
Develop and update job descriptions.
Forecasting recruitment budgets.
Prepare and post jobs on Social Media/LinkedIn/websites.
Conduct interviews using various reliable personnel selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule.
Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
Keeping track of all applicants as well as keeping applicants informed on the application process.
Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events.
Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and source of hire.
Reports on quarterly and annual hiring plans.
Reports on hiring progress weekly and monthly.
Handling the employee onboarding process and all PRO related tasks/activities
Collaborate with Sr Human Resources Manager to set qualification criteria/recruiting plans for future employees.
Note: The above is a list of the key accountabilities of the role. The employee in this role is expected to be open to manage other responsibilities that are linked to this role which can be assigned to him by his manager from time to time

Required work experience/Qualifications/Certification:
Masters or Bachelor’s degree in IT with Human resources as an add on qualification.
Strong hands-on IT recruitment work experience of at least three (3) years with Masters IT, or Five (5) years with Bachelor’s IT degree experience either in agency or in-house.
Direct sourcing experience, including the use of LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media platforms is key.
Experience in working in a technology company- ideally in a start-up- highly desirable.
Working knowledge of interview techniques/assessment centres and applicant screening methods.
Experience using Applicant Tracking/ CRM Systems (e.g. Workday, Taleo, SuccessFactors etc.) is essential.
Experience of working in a regional capacity and a solid understanding of cultural and market differences within the relevant countries is key.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Contract, Labour Law, Regulatory knowledge is essential.
Strong Communication Skills in English(mandatory) and Arabic(desired).
Ability to work independently in a start-up environment.
Familiarity with social media and other professional networks.
Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Strong decision-making skills.
Hands-on experience with HR databases
Excellent excel and power points skills.
Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.
Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
Comfortable working in a constantly changing environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and must be able to collect and work with various data sources for Recruitment related projects.
Data Analytical skills: Excellent with excel, Google sheets while having experience working on.
Hands-on approach with a can-do work attitude; with a fun-to-work-with energy at all times.
A commitment to delivering exceptional HR services with a passion.
Overall Strong communication, listening, interpersonal, networking, critical thinking, multi-tasking, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Being calm, professional, persuasive, and good at negotiation are desirable traits.
Language skills:
