Job Title: QC Resident Engineer
• Qualifications :
• Hold a B.Sc. Degree/Diploma or an approved equivalent degree in Electrical/ Instrumentation Engineering.
• Shall possess Ex01 to Ex04 training certification as Minimum from COMPEX, ATEC approved training or equivalent.
• Min. 10 Yrs. of experience in Electrical, Instrumentation Inspection field in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Must be experienced in interpreting and applying EPC Contractor and Vendor design documentation in the construction, testing and commissioning of all Electrical/instrumentation and control systems in Offshore/Onshore Oil and gas new construction large projects. E.g., EDG’s, GTGs, Transformer DC and AC power distribution, Switchgears, control gear, cathodic protection, DC UPS, FireGas and associated systems.
• Familiarity with works related to Electrical & Instrumental works i.e. cable Termination, I/O checks, and simulation checks. Formal qualification for work Activities associated with LV/HV Equipment, 6.6KV and 11KV.
• Proven working experience including liaising with EPC Contractors, Manufacturers and client representatives during the FAT and SAT of electrical and Instrumentation Equipment/Systems.
• Fully Conversant with the international codes and STDs ASME, API, DNV, BS & ISO. However, the familiarity with Company Technical STD is advantage.
