الوصف الوظيفي We are looking for a creative, innovative design head to join our team. The responsibilities of the design head include interpreting client briefs and turning them into creative solutions, delivering high – Quality products, overseeing design and troubleshooting design problems. To be successful Design Head, you should be able to adhere to tight deadlines and manage budget constraints to deliver a great product and experience .Ultimately, a top- notch design head should have strong communication, leadership and analytical skills. Responsibilities: • Planning and implementing the design to the company’s high standards. • Preparing drawings schedules, door schedules and hardware schedules that will allow the coordination of the design process from initial concept design to on-site fitting. • Liaising with the Project Manager and all other relevant Departments in regards to all design and engineering scheduling. Work closely with the assigned Quantity Surveyors/Procurement for specific projects. • Supervising the production of prototypes and site work. • Liaising with clients, consultants and various internal departments, and attending production design meetings. • Providing documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, sketches or specifications to the team, so that they may be drawn, fabricated, constructed, assembled and modified so as to be fit for purpose. • To prepare and organize the detail catalogue at the commencement of the project. • To prepare and execute ‘As Built’ drawings at completion of the project. • To compile the O & M manual, prior to completion of the project. • Coordinating the flow of information between sub-contractors. • Supervising a team of CAD draughtsman and Designers, allocation of workload and ensuring team deliverables are met within required timeframes. • Consistently keep abreast of market trends and construction methods • Ensure company policy and procedures are maintained and implemented, whilst continuously seeking ways to improve, refine and modify procedures. المهارات • Relevant Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Architecture or Design) • Must have at least 10-15 years interior fit out experience encompassing design, detailing, joinery and furniture installation. • Possess the ability to develop projects through the full design process from concept design to project delivery. • Must have previous experience working in companies engaged in manufacture and interior fit-out for 5-star hotels, luxury palaces, villas, commercial, etc. • Experience working in the UAE/Middle East is required. • Should also be able to independently manage clients and convert enquiries to sales.
