Storekeeper

Storekeeper required for Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
A highly progressive food and beverages group (restaurant chain) in Dubai, UAE is looking for a Storekeeper. Professionals with 3-5 plus years of similar experience in the food and beverages industry in the UAE only will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receives and inspects all incoming materials with a packing list, and escalates if any damages and discrepancies on shipment received to Accountant/ Warehouse supervisor.
• Ensure all the items prepared for orders are accurate in terms of the correct item, quantity, and quality.
• Ensure daily updates of warehouse temperature records and inform of any abnormal conditions.
• Ensure all the MHEs are charged regularly and maintained well to reduce maintenance costs.
• Maintains the warehouse, records area, and stores area in a neat and orderly manner.
• Monitor inbound shipment temperature and update Good Receipt note with required data and file them for future reference.
• Ensure all the inbound shipments are moved to bin locations before preparing for outbound orders
• Ensure all the returned items from customers are re-binned in locations as per instruction
• Maintain shelf life of the product and follow FEFO (First Expiry First Out) while picking orders for the outbound operation.
• Ensure any damaged/ expired products are isolated from other saleable stock.
• Ensure cleanliness of the product and storage are maintained well.
• Perform daily cycle count by the instructions given by the warehouse supervisor and provide feedback and support in resolving discrepancies.
• Ensure all the fast-moving items are stored in ground locations in the respective store.
• Any other related duties/projects assigned by the top management to meet business requirements.
Criteria for Eligibility:
• Vocational qualification in food & beverage and/or any initial training, if the person is highly motivated by the sector and that his/her level of commitment and skills have been validated
• Fluent in English
• Computer literate. (MS Office: Word, Excel; FMC)
• Good interpersonal skills and self-confidence, exceed communication skills
• Service-minded, with attention to quality and details
• Compensation as per industry standards. Base Salary plus allowances plus other benefits can be considered for the right candidates.
