The construction Engineer is responsible for managing different parts of construction projects, supervising crew members, preparing estimates for time and material costs, completing quality assurance, observing health and safety standards, and compiling reports for stakeholder.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables, labor, staff and costs
• Oversee all onsite and offsite construction activities to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
• Coordinate and direct construction activities and subcontractors’ performance
• Meet contractual conditions of performance and establish KPI for all construction-related activities
• Review the work progress on weekly basis and prepare a monthly construction progress report
• Analyse, manage and mitigate risks
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques in compliance with project specifications
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
• BS/MA in Civil Engineering
• Proven working experience in civil engineering especially working in Villas (G+3)
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc
• Project management and supervision skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• License of professional engineer
• Leadership and human resources management skills
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
• Should able to deal with DDA/ DM and Tarkees.
