Duties & Responsibilities
Manage corporate accounts to achieve sales targets and to develop and maximise all sales opportunities
Develop and execute a cohesive business strategy with a clearly prioritised approach to developing business within each key market
Plan and manage international sales through distributors, dealers and other relevant sales outlets
Coordinate the company’s trade exhibitions and represent the company at international distributor exhibitions
Negotiate and manage contractual arrangements after consultation with the Senior Management and Marketing for corporate customers as required to enable effective trading, operations and customer relations
Achieve assigned revenue targets by growing, maintaining, and closing a sales pipeline. 100% of this role will be focused on attracting new business.
Maintain accurate records in Salesforce with attention to detail.
Demonstrate competency in accurately forecasting quarterly business and achieving or exceeding that forecast.
Identify new business opportunities proactively and develop account plans to close this business.
Work proactively with the marketing sales development resources in working leads and opportunities that are marketing generating.
Work collaboratively with product marketing and product management as it relates to new functional software enhancements from customers.
Support the marketing functions as it relates to trade shows and events for oil and gas.
Supplement incoming leads with proactive prospecting activity to ideal customer profile.
Drive and manage the entire sales cycle – from identifying the right business initiatives and building a competitive value proposition to negotiating through close.
Comfortably talk to a wide range of decision influencers.
Investigate and understand the internal business processes of potential clients.
Advocate for the client needs internally by working with a variety of organizations including support, product management, professional service, software/hardware engineering and customer support.

Skills & Experience:
Must be an experienced international upstream oil & gas sector Sales Manager, used to operating through local distributors and dealers with commercial and marketing expertise
Must have international sales channel development experience in the oil & gas market, including appointing and managing territory licensees, agents and distributors
Must have demonstrable experience of creating and executing international oil & gas industry specific business strategies, planning and market assessments
Demonstrable experience in creating/opening new markets and new channels upstream
Good technical aptitude with the ability to understand and demonstrate technical products, again in the upstream stage of the industry
Ability to negotiate effectively at all levels when selling at this stage of the industry
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead sales teams in the oil & gas markets
Entrepreneurial and self-motivated individual looking for a career within a progressive, expanding company
Great communication skills
With innovative seasoned sales professional with a hunter mentality and have demonstrated experience in achieving and exceeding quarterly and annual targets.
Results oriented personality with a sales focus; willingness to have a significant portion of your compensation based on quota incentives (including substantial upside).
