Accountant

PLC Contracting LLC, a dynamic & exciting Marine Contractor based in Dubai, is looking for young and enthusiastic Accountant.
Job Responsibility
• Handling of petty cash transactions
• Preparations of cheques for suppliers/other payments
• Updating daily bank balance sheet
• Checking of time sheets and preparation of monthly payroll
• Preparations of tax invoices
• Updating receivables files and preparing reports
• Checking of Employee Benefits Provisions and posting in the system
• Preparation of various analysis reports as instructed.
• Posting of suppliers and expenses invoices
• Posting of journal vouchers in the system
• Any other tasked assigned by seniors.
Requirements
• Knowledge of International Finance Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Basic knowledge of VAT laws in UAE
• Knowledge of ERP Systems – preferably Oracle NetSuite
• Advance knowledge of MS Excel
• Good English Communication Skills – Written & Spoken
• Team player
• Takes responsibility of tasks given.
• Analytical capabilities / attention to details
• Performance and results orientation
• Experience: 3 Years’ experience preferably in Construction Industry
