Retail Sales Associate

الوصف الوظيفي
1.  Collaborating with fellow team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all times

2.  Setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor

3.  Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner

4.  Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers

5.  Serves customers by helping them select products through conversation and honest recommendations

6.  Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters, responds to customers’ questions

7.  Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards, and balancing drawers

8.  Ensure the financial transactions are according to company policies and procedure relating to cash & stock handling.

9.  Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise

10. Assisting in maintaining the back stock room and report discrepancies to managers

11. Documents daily sales by creating or updating the report

المهارات
· Proficient in verbal and written English language

· Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management

· Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends

· Previous retail experience or similar experience on the sales floor a plus

· High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

· Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
