Production Manager
Job Location: DIP-2, Dubai
Reporting to: Operations Director - MENA
Job Purpose:
Strategies Production operations at Kingspan Insulation Middle East (KIME) and transform the production facility by optimising all resources, focus on Production, QC, Health & Safety, Maintenance, Recycling and Upcycling initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the full production facility from production costs to quality control, planning, maintenance and productivity. The plant produces Insulated building material, you will manage a team in excess of 70. You will be responsible for all health, safety and standards compliance. You will oversee all day to day operations in the plant
• Coordination with the internal sales team throughout the production and delivery process to ensure that materials and products are delivered to Clients on spec, on budget and ahead of time.
• Estimations, product costings, budgeting and reporting.
• Set ambitious and clear product vision, in consultation with and communicate it effectively to stakeholders.
• Accountable for product specific KPIs once solution enters production and communicate regular tracking to stakeholders.
• Utilize market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for their team.
• Manage and motivate production line employees to achieve established goals, follow safety instructions, production volume, quality, and cost
• Continuous improvement in ramping up and automating productive processes, records, reporting, production scheduling and delivery.
• Supervision and coordination of all activities of the Production Supervisor, Team Leaders and Storekeeper.
• Ensure planned KPI’s of efficiency and performance are met or exceeded.
• Team management, including training, performance management and staff planning/utilization. Leading and developing the team of production personnel by instilling Kingspan core values at all times & implementation of policies and procedures.
Maintenance, Health & Safety and Quality Control
• Machinery/Equipment maintenance plan & development. Prioritisation of workload and resource utilisation for projects, support facilitated on- and off-equipment maintenance.
• Develop and implement quality and process control, including training and reporting to reduce operating problems and improve product quality.
• Develop and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for work standardisation, health and safety standard compliance in production hub and conduct training’s as required.
Job Requirements:
• B-Tech (Mechanical Engineer) by education with a minimum 10+ years of production management experience within large conglomerates preferably in building material/ FMCG industries.
