We are looking for Warehouse Manager with at least 3 years of relevant UAE experience. The candidates with Events Industry background will be given preference.
Job Description:
• Receives and inspects all incoming equipment and reconciles with purchase orders.
• Monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators, preparation of daily and monthly reports and reporting to management.
• Implementing operational policies and procedures.
• Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Coordination with the clients regarding the missing/ lost items in case of dry hires.
• Make sure that warehouse in as per Dubai Civil Defense standards.
• Identify core stock and ensure that appropriate levels are held at all times.
• Monitor all stock levels and stock turns.
• Monitor re-order levels and ensure orders are placed in adequate time to reduce non-availability of core or necessary stock items
• Coordination with Accounts Manager for stock purchases and stock reconciliation.
• Ensure that there are adequate controls in place to minimize theft and/or waste of all stock items.
• Organize and oversee physical stock take quarterly and match records of stock take to administrative and financial records.
Required Experience
• Degree in supply chain or distribution management.
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse or supply chain management.
• Previous supervisory/ management experience in essential.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Multitasking and flexible with the timing.
• Leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet or exceed multiple concurrent deadlines.
