HydroQualasa is looking to hire a water quality engineer to support CLIENT ORGANIZATION needs in hydraulic modeling of potable water distribution network, water quality assessment and early warning systems.
Key Tasks and Duties:
Monitor regulatory compliance by CLIENT ORGANIZATION in the aspect of water quality
Participate in the review/evaluation of water quality regulations
Enhance, maintain and coordinate water quality monitoring programs in CLIENT ORGANIZATION
Collate, summarize and evaluate statistical water quality data collected from CLIENT ORGANIZATION sites
Conduct site visits and field sampling to analyze/investigate water quality problems
Experience in development, calibration, and maintenance of dynamic water quality models (network)
Evaluate complex chemical, biological and radiological regulations, reports, and manuscripts in the context of a network water quality early warning system
Special studies related to water quality as assigned
Prepare/produce design, outlines, plans, layouts of water quality schemes, structures, or equipment
Understanding of disinfection principles and strategies
Review current disinfection results and support other client departments in defining asset condition based on that value
Conduct regular in-situ measurements of physical-chemical well water parameters (pH, Temp, RedOx, EC, Oxy, alkalinity) and vertical water quality logging (Temp, EC, ...) in recovery wells
Study and update current water quality monitoring and control during the crisis
Assist in developing a concept design and accuracy application for laboratory measurements accuracy verification.
Assist in developing an overall water quality index for reporting

Candidate Must Have:
Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering
5 years of relevant experience preferably in GCC
Strong knowledge of water distribution network modeling
Strong knowledge of water quality monitoring systems
