We are seeking a bright, self-driven Production Supervisor to work within the manufacturing unit and to assist the head of the department with the following qualifications:
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a Food manufacturing company preferably in chocolate.
• English fluency mandatory
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
• Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise in all processes of chocolate and confectionery industry
• Stocktaking and mass Balancing of the RM/PM/FG
• Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity
• Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
• Computer literate
• Day shift and night shift rotations.
Scope of Work/Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate on a daily basis the plant operations including production, logistics, maintenance and in-process QA while ensuring compliance with labor, safety, environment, corporate policies and regulations
• Mentor staff to ensure performance targets are being met
• Define the product parameters to identify and qualify the product gaps, and product development, innovation and renovation projects
• Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations as per the plan
• Increase production, capacity utilization and flexibility while minimizing costs and maintaining current quality standards
• Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time dispatch schedule
• Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
• Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime
• Commit to plant safety procedures
• Address employees’ issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements
