Account Director

Opportunity:
Leading the communication and identify the needs of both existing and new clients to successfully complete and deliver their projects. This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with the clients and the internal team members to better understand the clients’ requirements and mitigate any issues that might affect the delivery of their projects.
Responsibilities:
Plan budgets and activities for account management in the company
Qualitatively identify new business opportunities and proactively initiate new client conversations.
Receive brief/initiate process/liaise with client/ consultant.
Set timelines and assign key tasks/deliverables.
Lead RFI + RFP responses and help steward pitch meetings.
Interrogate the brief and organize the team to deliver excellent results, on time and with passion.
Work closely with Chief Growth Officer and senior management to build the pitch strategy & plan and efficiently execute the pitch end-to-end.
Work closely with our Financial and legal teams to deliver smooth delivery of remuneration models.
Deliver clear and insightful new business reports for senior management and finance teams.
Support negotiations across all Digital & traditional channels.
Ensure the advertising campaigns your team is managing to deliver against clients’ pacing and performance goals and that your team’s deliverables are of the highest quality.
Coach and develop team members of different experience levels to help them achieve growth within their roles.
Help build and lead a team that delivers unbeatable ad performance, inclusive of training, process enforcement, and innovation.
Ensure organization-wide processes are followed and consistently work to up-level processes.

To fit this role, you must have:
+8 years of account management experience.
+3 years of digital marketing experience.
Proven track record in the development of new business and/or growth of existing business.
Ability and experience in communicating with client leadership, including C-suite level executives at top companies in the region.
+2-3 years’ experience manage teams directly and cross-functionally to deliver fully integrated proposals.
Proven ability to prioritize, be assertive, detailed oriented, self-starting and a willingness to take ownership and follow-through.
Negotiation skills and ability to comprehend and creatively solve clients’ business challenges.
Have exceptional communication skills (writing, presentation development, oratory skills) to promote agency in a professional, culturally relevant manner.
Demonstrated critical thinking ability.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
Self-starter who thrives in a rapidly changing environment.
Energetic, relentless drive to succeed, team player.
