Over-all responsible for the day-day-operations related to the hotel and its staff. You would have commercial accountability for budgeting and financial management, planning, organizing and directing all hotel services, including Front Office, Food and Beverage operations, Housekeeping, Engineering and Sales. Also ensures implementation of Al Khoory Hotel’s brand service strategy and brand initiatives with the objective of meeting or exceeding guest expectations, increased profit and optimized operational efficiency.
II. Main Duties and Responsibilities
Demonstrates and provide high level of leadership, guidance, and direction to the hotel management team as it strives to provide the highest quality in standards and services.
Oversee the operational functions of the hotel, as per the Organizational chart of Al Khoory Hotels.
Hold regular morning briefings and monthly/weekly operational meetings with all head of the departments.
Develop and manage the commercial and operational strategy for the hotel to drive optimal performance and achieve financial and other business targets.
Commercial accountability for budgeting and financial management, planning, organizing and directing all hotel services, including Front Office, Food and Beverage operations, Housekeeping, Engineering and Sales.
Ensure full compliance to Hotel operating controls, SOP’s, policies and procedures to ensure high level of service standards.
Maximize revenue and profitability of the hotel.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve a larger market share and attract new market segments for the hotel.
Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including owners, Al Khoory Group management, customers and suppliers.
Business and people management.
Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotel’s annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital Budget.
Actively participate in the development of all key managerial positions and manage effectively employee turnover, recruitment and employee development within budgeted parameters.
Analyzing sales figures and devising marketing and revenue management strategies.
Regularly and personally verify that guests are receiving personalized, thoughtful and generous service.
Use guests and colleague feedback to make recommendations for improvements that drive performance and enhance the guest experience.
Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations.

Ensure the hotel complies with all applicable regulations and legislation, including Health, Safety & Hygiene, employment legislation and financial reporting. Support internal and external audit teams to ensure risks are identified and controlled effectively.
