BlockDelta is exclusively seeking to hire a MSP Project Manager for our multinational client based in Dubai, UAE. Due to recent contract wins, they are urgently seeking to add to their talented team.
Summary:
The MSP Project Manager is vital to ensure overall project success, customer satisfaction, repeat business and ITS expansion. They will serve as the centre of communication between Customer, our Client and Subcontractor. Ideal candidate must be available to travel outside of the UAE, to countries including Iraq, whenever necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with EMIT, WQ1IT and Subcontractor to ensure coordination and delivery of service in accordance with the project scope of work
• Identify hiring and recruitment needs for the Project, coordinate and provide assistance to Human Resources department to ensure Project personnel are hired as per the company recruitment and hiring policies and procedures, contract requirements and qualifications (and within the budget)
• Manage Project personnel onboarding and ensure smooth, safe and ontime mobilization and demobilization
• Identify Project personnel training needs, implementation, performance monitoring and training effectiveness evaluation
• Conduct Customer satisfaction survey and Subcontractor performance evaluation every six months, communicate feedback and close non-conformances as and when they arise
• Identify new opportunities, develop and submit proposal, follow-up to ensure Customer approval and monitor the work until it is completed
• Generate monthly service delivery ticket, obtain Customer signature for on time billing, follow up Customer payment as necessary
• Monitor contract change orders, maintain log and ensure service delivery
• Coordinate and facilitate Project review meetings, conferences, workshops etc., develop and update presentation for MSP strategic meeting with Customer and Subcontractor
• Develop and monitor monthly progress report for our clients management team
• Capture Project issues, examine for any impact on project risks and recommend actions to close any issues
• Produce a Project Close-Out report including assessment of project results against its objectives, provide statistics on the performance of the project which records useful project lessons learned
Competencies:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and demonstrated academic achievement.
• 3-7 Years’ experience as a Project Manager or similar IT-related experience
• Interpersonal Skills – The ability to establish oneself as a peer and trusted partner for our client counterparts.
• Tenacity /Grit – This role will require getting deep into details and performing very granular reviews and extensive process shadowing.
• Change Management – The ability to help counterparts through difficult transitions to a new process, workflow, or situation.
• Motivation / Drive – Successful candidates will have a desire for continuous learning. Self-starting and going beyond what are asked to take on new challenges and create innovative solutions.
• Analytical Skills – Understanding of complex Excel and Access and/or simple SQL and Visual Basic are a plus.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced MSP Project Manager. Ideal candidate will already be based in the Middle East area, ideally UAE, and will have no issues with travelling to client sites (including countries such as Iraq – Basra)
