What you will do
The Director – Strategy, M&A;and Transformation is a key role reporting to the VP & GM - Middle East and Africa region, based in Dubai. This position will lead strategic analysis to drive profitable growth, M&A;, transformation process and pricing strategy for the assigned business area. In particular this position will drive business results through economic and financial analysis to support decision making, recommend strategies and best practices to strive for continuous improvement and lead the generation of innovative ideas and programs within the regional transformation framework.
You will work within a vibrant environment that will provide a platform for you to use your leadership experience coupled with your analytical and strong business acumen in leading organizational transformations and implementing strategic plans within Middle East & Africa region.
How you will do it
As Director, Strategy & Transformation you will design, structure and lead critical strategic projects, provide financial input and collaborate with business, support other business units in the deployment of strategic business transformations and will be responsible for leading the development of comprehensive business strategies that will drive profitable organic growth. You will tackle abstract issues and solve complex problems with a structured data-driven approach and innovative mindset in a fast-paced environment. You will lead strategic initiatives from opportunity identification, prioritization, diagnostic, design, pilot, implementation and impact measurement with a variety of tools, devising M&A;strategies, identifying sectors that might be viable business targets. You will work with the financial leadership to ensure strategic and transformation initiatives are translated in measurable business results. Advice on pricing strategies , regularly interact with stakeholders, counterparts and executive management of Global LOB. You will perform business analysis and reviews, initiate process optimization to reduce cost and improve business profits.
You will develop and implement recommendations on the strategic capacity required to maintain strategy focus, while adapting to new challenges and opportunities. What we look for
Required
* MBA degree, Finance major preferred
* 10+ years of relevant work experience in consulting, ideally with significant case experience in manufacturing and services and demonstrated experience in leading organizational transformations and implementing strategic plans
* Significant experience in preparing financial reports, pricing strategies and presenting to high-level management
* Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders, of varying levels, in a highly matrixed organization, both internal & external
* Strong business acumen, analytical skills, research capabilities, valuation, due diligence, post-merger integration and ability to work within a matrixed and cross-functional environment to proactively address critical finance issues
* Ability to understand and work within diverse cultural landscape and all organizational levels to seek opportunities for improvement and leverage resources for problem resolution when and where required
* Ability to strategize, design and execute towards ambitious goals, and generate creative new approaches to solving business problems
* High-energy, passionate, with proven track record of delivering results and high resilience in a challenging environment
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design, structure, and lead projects are required
* Collaborate with other teams within the broader Strategy & Business Transformation group (e.g. Market Intelligence, M&A;, Pricing, Transformation, etc.).
* Ability to establish goals consistent with company objectives and to adapt plans to a changing environment
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills (oral, written and listening) for a variety of audiences
* Able to travel significantly within MEA region and internationally
